    There are 4 Notice Boards used by the Parish Council and situated throughout the Parish as follows: Great Dalby - Top End and Nether End Little Dalby - Nr Telephone Box Burton Lazars - At junction of Peppers Lane and Cross Lane The Parish Clerk is available during office hours via the telephone/email address on the Home Page

  • Animal fouling

    Dog Litter Bins are strategically placed throughout the Parish. If you need access to scoops please contact the Parish Clerk. Please help to keep the public areas free of poo!

    Bus shelters are provided at Burton Lazars and Little Dalby. Bus stop points are marked throughout the parish and are being assessed for apprpriate signage.

    Neighbourhood Watch schems are operative in the parish.

    Seasonal entertainments and events are held in village halls in the parish. See notice boards for details or contact caretakers.

  • Footpaths (rights of way)

    Ancient footpaths are to be found across the parish. Thye are maintained by Leicestershire County Council who provide waypoints, gates and stiles.

    Village Halls are for hire subject to availability. Please contact the Caretakers.

    Litter bins are strategically placed throughout the parish. Please use them for your litter.

  • Memorials

    There is a war memorial n the Village Green at Great Dalby.

  • Nature reserves

    Villagers have restored an ancient Washdyke on Woodgate Hill at Great Dalby. Access is gated from the road. Children should be supervised if entering the site.

    The Parish Council comments on all Planning Applications in the parish submitted to the Borough Council.

  • Public meetings

    Meetings of the Parish Council are held quarterly - dates are advised on the notice board. Please contact the Clerk for further information. Meetings are open to members of the public.

  • Street furniture

    Seats are provided around the parish and are maintained by the Parish Council.

  • Street lighting

    Street Lighting throughout the parish is maintained by leicestershire County Council. Some of the units are owned by the Parish the remainder by the County Counil. Malfunctions of lights should be reported to the Clerk.

  • Village greens

    The Village Green at Great Dalby houses the War Memorial and a copy of a traditional village pump. It also has a nimber of attractive trees.

  • Village halls

    Village Halls are found in Great Dalby and Burton Lazars.
